David F. Sandberg, director of the film, has now shared the details of how he shot the scene by answering questions from fans on Twitter.

The director had used stunt double Taylor Cahill on set just to figure out how to shoot the scene because Gal Gadot couldn’t go to Atlanta: “There is absolutely no deepfake technology. When you see Gal it’s 100% her“.

Sandberg added: “I was surprised how well the remote directing went, but when I spoke to Lotta Losten about it she said, ‘now don’t think about directing everything like this’. I would never do that though. I love being on set“. David reiterated: “It wasn’t difficult at all. But we also shot the scene with a stunt double, so we knew exactly what takes we needed. We had done some measurements to figure out how high the camera should be off the ground, lens information, etc
