During the 95th edition of the Oscars Jimmy Kimmel found the time to tease Matt Damon, bringing their “rivalry” back into vogue.
The friendly rivalry between Matt Damon And Jimmy Kimmel, but the host of the well-known television program decided to tease the actor during last night’s Oscar ceremony. His intervention took place with a simple question to Jessica Chastain, Damon’s co-star in the film The Martian.
“Tell me, was it hard making that movie with Matt Damon because he can’t read and he smells like dog medicine?”. The actress responded very calmly about the fact that she had few scenes and therefore everything went well.
The interludes between Kimmel and Damon began in 2005, precisely in the third season of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where the actor was cut in the last minutes of the program. Since then, the feud between the two has become a recurring gag: in 2008 Kimmel’s then partner, Sarah Silverman, even made a music video entitled “I fuck Matt Damon”. Kimmel responded by making a video about Matt Damon’s longtime friend Ben Affleck.

When Damon and Affleck hosted the Oscars in 2017 Kimmel immediately had some music playing as the actor started talking. Yesterday evening, therefore, was a new chapter in a now interminable feud.
