Halle Bailey says her Ariel will have more “nuances” than the original: she won’t just “leave the ocean for a boy”.

Halle Bailey has promised that her interpretation of Ariel in the anticipated live-action de The little Mermaid will be richer in “nuance” than the animated version of 1989. The remake produced by Disney will hit theaters in two months, the May 24, 2023. “I’m really excited about my version of the movie because we definitely changed the perspective of her desire to leave the ocean for a boy”He says. “It’s much bigger than that.
