Shockingly, Meta Sandiford-Artest ranks Bill Russell in the top five, Michael Jordan in fourth, and leaves LeBron James out entirely

Meta Sandiford-Artest woke up on Tuesday and chose to piss off the internet with her top-five list. Sandiford-Artest counts Bill Russell as his GOAT, while Michael Jordan only ranks fourth and LeBron James doesn’t even crack the top five. He also revealed which player he thinks had the greatest career.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the former Los Angeles Lakers player shared his list of five greatest players. Russell takes the top spot, followed by Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant and Jordan. His No. 5 was left blank because he couldn’t make up his mind, but he thinks Kareem Abdul-Jabbar probably had the greatest career of all time.

“Top 5 players in NBA history. 1. Bill Russell 2. Wilt Chamberlain 3. Kobe 4. MJ 5…I had a tough time with Mamba and Kobe. The best of all time Great career – KJ,” Sandiford-Artest wrote.

Of course, most people agree that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. Some might even say LeBron James has surpassed him, but Meta Sandiford Artest has the right to have his own roster spot.

Bill Russell is the greatest winner in NBA history with 11 championships. Wilt Chamberlain was a dominant player in his prime, and Shaquille O’Neal was the only player more dominant than him.

Although Kobe is a replica of Jordan, his “Mamba Mentality” has a greater impact on the world. However, it’s safe to say that some fans won’t be too happy with Sandiford-Artest’s top-five list.

The last time Meta Sandiford-Artest released his roster, Michael Jordan was ranked third.

Tuesday’s post isn’t the first time Meta Sandiford-Artest has shared his list of the five greatest players of all time. I discussed this on the I Am Athlete podcast last year.

“My number five, Bill Russell, because you can’t beat him,” Sandiford-Forrest said. “He beat Wilt Chamberlain. I got Wilt Chamberlain second. I just didn’t know who could do what he could do…” And then I got, this is My point, then I got Jordan. Sometimes, I put Shaq first.

“Shaq doesn’t get enough credit as one of them. He’s never talked about as one of the best players of all time … but he’s not in my top five. I have Kobe. There is. One guy I miss is not in my top five because Kobe and LeBron were always tied for fifth.”
