Voice The Blind Auditions for Season 24 are about to wrap up, and coach John Legend’s team is looking pretty impressive. The coach has eight shifts on the team for four chairs. Does this give him an advantage? Should there be a limit on the number of four-chair turns a coach can do?

John Legend has eight spins on four chairs Voice

This season, Legend joined his team eight times with four chairs – Mara Justine, Ephraim Owens, Ste, Kaylee Shimizu, Lila Ford, JaRay Womack, Willie Gomez and Caleb Sasser. Fellow trainer Gwen Stefani has four, while Niall Horan and Reba McEntire have three each.

Until the premiere of season 24 Voice The coaches tried to predict which of them would be the winner this time. Horan teased that Legend’s team is “crazy” this season. Now we understand what he meant.

It is clear that many talented singers want to work with Legend. It is therefore interesting that the coach has only won one season out of the seven he has completed so far. “Legend” won season 16 with singer Maylene Jarmon.

So Legend’s numerous turns on the four chairs don’t necessarily guarantee that viewers at home will vote for his artists. However, the question arises as to whether the show should introduce a new rule limiting the number of four-chair turns each coach can have on their team.

Should the show be limited to four chair turns per team?

Personally, I don’t think there should be a limit on the number of four-chair turns a coach can do. The first reason for this has already been mentioned: four-chair turns do not guarantee success. Parade Earlier this year, it was reported that 10 of the show’s winners had received the honor.

That’s less than half the winners in the show’s 23 seasons so far. Last season’s winner, Gina Miles, only flipped two chairs. So while a trainer doing a lot of four-chair turns is definitely impressive, it’s not an automatic advantage.

Another reason to not impose restrictions is that artists who turn all four chairs deserve to have a choice in which coach they want to work with. The introduction of the block has already complicated the situation, since the artist can rotate all four coaching chairs, but cannot select one of them.

Coaches also have a limit on the total number of artists they can have on their team. This puts some of the later listeners at a disadvantage. Adding another restriction would only complicate the situation and deprive artists of choice.

What do you think? Is it fair that Team Legend has so many four-chair turns? Do you think anyone on his team will win this season? Let us know in the comments below.
