As TMZ reports, the two singers, who came out in March, have decided to end their relationship by mutual agreement after five months as a couple.
A source revealed that Avril, 38, and Tyga (born Michael Ray Stevenson) have maintained a good relationship and there is no fighting left between them.
The break-up comes just weeks after the end of Avril’s Love Sucks World Tour, as the rapper is currently busy producing new music.
The pair were first spotted together in February, just days after Avril and Mod Sun ended their 10-year engagement.
In March, Tyga and Lavigne were spotted sharing a passionate kiss at the Mugler x Hunter Schafer party during Paris Fashion Week.
For the time being, those directly involved have preferred not to comment on the gossip rumours.
Tyga has a 10-year-old son with ex Blac Chyna. He was engaged to Kylie Jenner between 2014 and 2017.
Avril was married to Sum 41 frontman Derrick Whibley between 2006 and 2010, and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback between 2013 and 2015.
