Simona Severini, singer-songwriter with a multifaceted background in jazz, collaborating with artists such as Enrico Pieranunzi, Gabriele Mirabassi and Enrico Intra, has performed at numerous exhibitions such as Umbria Jazz, Spoleto Festival, Bologna Festival and as songwriter in Sanremo Giovani.

From him meeting with violinist Daniele Rexei and bassist Giulio Corini gives birth to “Phaedra”a project that explores the threshold between jazz and early music with a creative and free approach to a repertoire spanning nearly 500 years of music history: from Monteverdi to Italian singer-songwriter Lucio Dalla, from Duke Ellington to Nick Drake.

A guest of prestigious concert halls and festivals in Italy and abroad, including the Grand Theater of Brescia, the Quirinale Concerts and the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm, the trio is surrounded by two guests who appear among famous representatives of the national jazz scene, united by a special sensitivity to chamber sound: Fulvio Sigurta on trumpet and Peo Alfonsi on classical guitar Sunday, August 13, at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Riva del Garda for the last concert of the Garda Jazz Festival. The concert will start at 21.00.
