Each pair of boots symbolizes Jordan’s career and bears the legendary player’s signature, Considered one of the best athletes of all time.
The auction amount hit a new record, $8,032,800 is the highest amount ever paid A pair of second-hand sneakers.
Brahm Wachter, Head of Modern Collections, Sotheby’sx said in a statement that this achievement highlights Jordan’s status as the “GOAT”. (greatest of all time or best of all time).
“Today’s record price is testament to the GOAT. There is no doubt that the Dynasty Collection is one of the greatest compilations of sports memorabilia most important in history. “(A) truly unparalleled moment and milestone in auction history, the sale of these six championship sneakers may never be replicated,” the Observer noted.
