Slasher film starring Brad Pitt will be released in 4K

Back in 1989, just a few years before he entered Hollywood’s A-list, Brad Pitt starred alongside Donovan Leitch, Jill Schoelen, Roddy McDowall and Martin Mull in a slasher film. Cutting class – and MVD Rewind Collection have announced that they will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of Cutting Class with a 4K release of the film on January 16this!

Directed by Rospo Pallenberg from a script by Steve Slavkin. Cutting class has the following synopsis: High school can be murder. Just ask Paula (Jill Schoelen, Stepfather

). Her overprotective father disappears during a weekend hunting trip. She is romantically pursued by Brian Woods (Donov Leitch). A drop), a creepy classmate who recently graduated from a mental hospital. Her jealous jock boyfriend Dwight (Brad Pitt) Moneyball) is looking for any excuse to give vent to his youthful rage. Depraved school principal Mr. Dante (Roddy McDowall) Night of fear) haunts her students, and her friends and teachers quickly become victims of a silent, shadowy massacre. As the number of victims increases, Paula begins to suspect that any of her reckless admirers may be a twisted killer. But if she doesn’t find out her identity soon, her schooling will quickly end.

The 4K disc will be released in a two-disc set with a Blu-ray copy of the film. Blu-ray.com reports that the discs will have the following features:
