Snarky Puppy Concert at the Bergamo Jazz Estate, Lazzaretto

The sound effects that the group produces live are truly worthy of a rock band, with the added value of expressive versatility that enhances the instrumental qualities of the individual components and the solidity of the collective.

Founded by California-born bassist Michael League in 2004 during a period studying at the University of Texas, Snarky Puppy immediately stood out for the elasticity of its staff, so much so that it resembled a kind of creative lab in constant fermentation. The first album was released in 2005, live on uncommon ground, self-made, which subsequently tests the discovered terrain with even greater determination. 2013 is the year of the first Grammy for the song “Something”, included in the album.
