Spurs’ Victor Wembanya joins LeBron James, Stephen Curry to discuss Player of the Year

Just five games into his NBA career, Victor Wembanyama already looks like an All-Star. The San Antonio Spurs have a new superstar talent who is everything they need not only in the frontcourt, but from an offensive leader perspective as well.

Wembanyama currently leads the Spurs with 20.6 points per game and has a track record of early-season success for this young team. Wimby played a huge role in the San Antonio Spurs’ 20-point victory over the Phoenix Suns earlier this week, and he showed off his talents again in Phoenix against Kevin Durant and the Suns Scored a career-high 38 points and 10 rebounds in the game.

In the final six and a half minutes of the game, Wembanyama made three of three field goals and made three free throws. The rookie ended up scoring 10 of the Spurs’ final 16 points in the game, helping the Spurs win 132-121.
