Ssa reports 50 dead and a thousand 510 confirmed cases


The Secretariat of Health (SSa) reported that at the court of this Thursday, April 2in Mexico there are a thousand 510 confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19.

In a press conference from the National Palace, José Luis Alomía, director General of Epidemiology Secretariat of Health, said that 50 mexicans died because of the COVID-19.

As of today, the ministry of Health has knowledge of 4,653 cases of suspected of COVID-19, which they hope results of the screening test; have also been discarded 7,822 cases.

By entity, the Mexico city builds up the most deaths with 14, while by age group, the people over 65 years of age are the population most affected, followed by those between 50 to 55 years.

In addition, most of the people who died had previous diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and obesity, primarily.

In the case of Mexico, the Mexico city is shaping up as the place with the most cases of COVID-19 to 327 confirmed cases and an incidence rate of 3.6.

Of the total confirmed cases, 84 people are serious and deserved hospitalization (5.6%), while those in critical condition who had to be intubated, 15 (1%).

Institute of Health of Welfare to ask for help in the conference

Alejandro Svarch Perez, national coordinator, doctor of Institute of Health of Welfare (INSABI)announced that the Institute is hiring people in need of hands to face everything that is happening with the pandemic coronavirus

Svarch commented by a few of the slides that the INSABI is looking for people specialized in: Intensive care, Emergency, Internal Medicine, Pneumology, Infectology, Anesthesiology and nurses in general.
