State government provides P4.7 million support to plateau agriculture sector

In support of agricultural and livestock producers in the town of Ramos, The Ministry of Agricultural Development and Water Resources (Sedarh) and the Secretariat of the Federal Government (SGG) delivered machinery and farm implements with a tripartite investment of 4.7 million pesos.

Support to agricultural producers on behalf of San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona and Government Secretary J. Guadalupe Torres Sánchezclearly stating that the government will continue to provide more opportunities for those who are committed to agriculture and livestock, “they are sectors that need sustainable growth, in addition to ensuring the country’s food security.”

Sedarh Governor Jose Alfredo Pérez Ortiz said that Governor Ricardo Gallardo has given a strong push and support to agriculture and livestock.

During his first two years in office, he aimed to get more producers to “restore the prosperity that had been lost due to the lack of attention and interest of past administrations”.

The producer of Villa de Ramos received four tractors and 33 machinery for an investment of More than 2.2 million pesos were spent on tools, 2.5 million pesos on tractors, and a tripartite contribution between the state, city council and beneficiaries totaled just over 4.7 million pesos.In addition, they received stallions for breeding.
