Stephen Curry makes history, passing LeBron James at 35 years old

Stephen Curry continues to make history when, at age 35, he becomes the oldest player to average 30 points in his first 10 games.

Through the first 10 games of the all-time scoring leader’s 2019-20 season, he is currently averaging 6 points more than LeBron James (24 points per game), who is averaging 35 points.

Curry also became the 35th player in NBA history to score 22,000 points in his career.

But it came at the cost of another loss at home for the Golden State Warriors.

Curry’s 30 points were not enough to prevent the Warriors from suffering their first losing streak of the season and their second straight loss in six days against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Curry doesn’t mind reaching these milestones. He regretted losing at home for the second time in three games.

Warriors lack size

Draymond Green ejected

Kerr called Green’s ejection strange because the referee retroactively called a technical foul on Green.

“(The explanation is) he probably got a technical foul a couple games ago for elbowing (Donovan) Mitchell,” Kerr told reporters after the loss. “So I’ve never heard of that rule, but apparently you can technically review someone from two previous games after a review.”
