Stranger Things Star Reveals Season 4 “Crazy”

In the words of Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, season four is going to be “crazy.” Sounds like the show is going to be a “crazy ride”.

“I really want people to see this season. We filmed it for the last one and a half to two years because of COVID. I really want everyone to see this season,” McLaughlin said in an interview with Complex. “It’s definitely different from the last few seasons. The storylines are crazy. It’ll be very interesting to see what people think about it. As I talk about it, I think about what we were filming, and I think, ‘Wow. Nobody knows what will happen next. This is madness”.

So far, little is known about the fourth season of the series – not even a release date. A mysterious teaser featuring Hawkins National Laboratory has been released, featuring Matthew Modine’s voiceover from Dr. Brenner. It is also known that David Harbor’s Hopper somehow survived the season 3 finale and is now in a Russian prison.

Four new cast members have been added to the new season’s cast: Amybeth McNulty from “Anne” will play Vicki, “the tough, fast-talking nerd from the group who grabs the attention of one of our favorite characters”; Miles Truitt will play basketball star Patrick; Regina Ting Chen will join the team as Miss Kelly’s career counselor, while Grace Van Dien will play Cheerleader Chrissy.

Based on photos of the scripts posted on Twitter, the fourth season of the sci-fi show will consist of nine episodes. However, we probably still have to wait a bit as the pandemic has slowed things down. From the looks of it, we can expect Season 4 sometime in 2022.
