She made a video about toxicity in which she explained how she felt and dealt with the loss.

Venus Williams on dealing with toxicity

Venus Williams has a successful YouTube channel where she frequently uploads content. The seven-time Grand Slam champion made a video about dealing with his own toxicity. She began by describing how she developed a toxic trait while dealing with loss.

“I feel like sometimes I lose a game in a tournament and then when someone else loses two games of maybe the top seed or something like that. I feel less sad about my loss. Sometimes suffering also loves company.“

Although their loss softened the blow, she wasn’t used to paying attention to them. Feeling a little better when a situation arises can sometimes be helpful to an individual, but one should not be set in stone.

She cited a passage from the Bible that solidified her belief in this strategy. “There is a verse in the Bible that is very appropriate here. It says, before you remove the straw from other people’s eyes, first remove the rafters from your own eyes.

“So focus on yourself, less on the flaws around you and how they shape you, and more on how they strengthen your self-esteem.”.
