Superfresh is the new proposal from the Plaion Pictures distribution house, always attentive to the digital needs of the new generations and one of the pioneers in expanding its range of rights.
Milan, March 31, 2023 – Plaion Pictures, the film division of Plaion, a leading company in the production and distribution of digital entertainment products, has fantastic and very fresh news for all fans of great cinema. Starting today, 21 March 2023, entertainment cinema has in fact a new home on Prime Video Channels thanks to the thematic channel Superfresh, which offers a careful selection of international films, of great appeal and with memorable casts made up of actors and actresses most loved and known by the general public. This new Plaion Pictures channel will offer viewers new viewing proposals for all ages and tastes every month, thanks to a constant refresh of content with a mix of new features, exclusives and hard-to-find titles to see and review again.
Unmissable titles are already available on the channel such as Riders of Justice, an adrenaline-pumping film starring Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, Fantastic Beasts – Dumbledore’s secrets), The Song Of Names – La Musica Della Memoria, inspired by the novel by Norman Lebrecht and starring Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, The Legend of the Ocean Pianist), and I’m Your Man, a soulful rom-com with Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast (2017), Downtown Abbey) that explores the relationship between love and technology. For lovers of drama and thrillers, the channel can already boast some little gems with stellar casts such as Kill Chain, with Nicholas Cage, Lawless, with Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain and Shia LaBeouf, or again Locke, a compelling drama presented out of competition at the 70th edition of the Venice Film Festival with Olivia Colman, Tom Hardy and Tom Holland. On Superfresh, fans can also find entertaining and emotional comedies such as Madame, with Rossy de Palma and Toni Collette, or stories inspired by real events such as Two Ways to Destino with Oscar® winners Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth and Attack on the Truth – Shock And Awe, but also stories able to excite and move every time like Boychoir – L’ottava Note with the timeless Dustin Hoffman.
In April, to celebrate the recent Oscar® win of Everything Everywhere All at Once, Superfresh will also offer its subscribers films such as Swiss Army Man, directed by the directors themselves, the Daniels, starring Paul Dano (The Fabelmans, The Batman) and Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter Saga, Now You See Me) and Luc Besson’s film The Lady, with Michelle Yeoh – who this year triumphed at the Oscars for Best Actress – in the role by Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi.
Starting today, Prime customers will be able to subscribe and use the Superfresh channel as and when they want: via PC, TV and the dedicated Prime Video app, with a free 7-day trial period and will be able to enjoy Superfresh content through an additional subscription for € 6.99 per month, with the option to cancel at any time.
