Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell make changes to pre-Christmas release of ‘Anyone But You’ – Deadline

Update: Romantic comedy by Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. Anyone but you now opens on December 22 instead of December 15. The new release date gives the feature the opportunity to play over the Christmas four-day weekend; Movie attendance always increases sharply after the holidays. This year Christmas falls on Monday. The first look image above was recently released.

The trailer was revealed last week during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation.

The screwball comedy, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, is about two people who hate each other so much they can’t resist each other. Set in Sydney, the two are shown going on various holidays, from falling off a boat to having large spiders crawl into their pants.

The script was written by Ilana Wolpert and Gluck. Joe Roth produces with Jeff Kirshenbaum and Gluck. EP – Sweeney, Natalie Sellers, Alyssa Altman and Jacqueline Monetta. Also starring Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, Michelle Hurd, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnett and Hadley Robinson.

The only other wide-screen studio release on December 15 is Timothée Chalamet’s Warner Bros.Wonka.
