On Sunday, Sweeney took to her Instagram Story to highlight the festivities with photos of mirrored balls and pink curtains on the ceiling.

To show off what the rest of her evening looked like, she posted a few of her friends’ Instagram stories from the evening. Mirror balls and pink curtains could be seen in one photo of the event, as well as a lit dance floor, balloons and a white banner with “Sid’s Prom” written in pink on shiny metallic fringe.

Another photo showed a blue and pink starry backdrop with stars and two color-coordinated airy arches that people took photos in front of at a real prom in the ’80s.
Other decorations included a photo booth provided by Revolve and Polaroid.
Staying true to her theme, the actress donned a hot pink puff sleeve minidress that looked like it came straight out of the ’80s, as seen in photos she posed for with guests.
She also channeled the signature style of the decade with her voluminous blonde locks and accessories, including a small handbag and platform shoes adorned with adorable bows.

And Camila Mendes, and Barbie Actress Ariana Greenblatt filmed Sweeney standing next to her multi-colored, three-layer cake while loved ones sang an operatic version of “Happy Birthday” to her. When the song ended, Sweeney blew out the candles and raised her hand, clapping and kissing everyone.

Several partygoers were excited about the big birthday bash, including Mendes, 29, who wrote on her Instagram Story that “80s prom was cool” and added two pink hearts. “Love youuuu :),” Sweeney wrote in response.
Nicola Peltz Beckham was also in attendance and shared a snap of Sweeney applauding while everyone around her recorded her.
“Happy birthday, beautiful! I love you so much!!” Beckham, 28, wrote alongside a selection of emojis including a sparkly pink heart, bow, heart hands, heart eyes and a crown.

Sweeney Any Notes Co-star Alexandra Shipp posted a photo with the Emmy nominee on her Instagram, calling her the “birthday girl.”
Anitta also took the time to celebrate Sweeney with a photo of the couple, which marked two important milestones for them.
“My first graduation thanks to the birthday girl @sydney_sweeney. You deserve the best!!!” wrote the Brazilian singer.
