KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP) — Travis Kelce put the ball in Taylor Swift’s court, and she eventually brought it to Arrowhead Stadium.
The 12-time Grammy Award winner took advantage of the All-Pro tight end’s invitation to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. Swift wore red and white as she watched with Kelsey’s mother, Donna, from one of the glass-enclosed rooms on a sun-drenched Kansas City afternoon.
She put on quite a show too. Kelce caught a 3-yard pass in the third quarter to give the Chiefs a 41-0 lead.
Swift has always been reluctant to discuss her personal life publicly, but rumors have circulated about the pop superstar and footballer. They started when Kelsey said on his New Heights podcast that he was disappointed that he didn’t get the chance to meet Swift and give her a friendship bracelet during her stop in Kansas City on her Eras Tour.
Then, during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Kelsey said, “I threw the ball down her court and told her, ‘I saw you rock the stage at Arrowhead.’ You might have to come watch me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is better lit.”
Almost everyone tried to smear Swift and Kelce, even pestering his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce for details. He was asked about a potential relationship on 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia.
“I really don’t know what’s going on in Travis’ personal life. I try to keep his business his business and stay out of this world,” Jason Kelsey said. “But having said that, I think he’s doing great and I think it’s all 100% true.”
There has been no word from either Travis Kelce or Swift about defining their relationship.
Swift is on hiatus from her Eras Tour, which resumes November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
