With the addition of group video calling, Telegram now has every chance of becoming the most functional communication app and ecosystem in the world today. This feature became available to all users on Friday, June 25th.
To start a group video call, the participating users must be in a single group. Voice chat must be started by the administrator, who can do this using the menu button (three dots in the vertical line) in the profile of the selected group – this is the case with Android. If you use Telegram on iOS, the group administrator should see the “Voice Chat” button right in the group profile. When launched, the group video is limited to the first 30 people who “join the voice chat”. The developers promise to raise this limit soon, but the new number has not been specified.
Telegram has also added a screen sharing feature along with group video chat. To share your screen, according to a Telegram spokesperson, press the appropriate app menu button.
