Tennis legend Venus Williams to speak at Trinity University

Tennis star Venus Williams will speak in January as part of Trinity University’s Distinguished Lecture Series.

The event is free and open to the public and is scheduled for January 31 at 7:30 p.m. in Lowry Auditorium on campus.

“The story of Venus Williams resonates with our university’s ethos of intellectual curiosity, confidence and creativity,” Trinity President Vanessa Beasley said in the school’s announcement.

Trinity University said tickets are required and there is a limit of two per person. They will open first to students and staff on November 6, followed by university alumni on November 13, and to the public from November 27. Tickets will be on sale at the Lowry Auditorium Box Office.
