Teaser trailer for the film Thanksgiving Daydirector’s new horror film Eli Roth which will hit US theaters on November 17th. The film is an adaptation of the pseudo-trailer, which can be viewed at grindhouse2007 film featuring a serial killer in a suit Pilgrim father terrorizes Massachusetts town dressed up for Thanksgiving. There are certain similarities between the new trailer and the original Grindhouse parody trailer. Among them, we can find a man in a turkey costume walking in the Thanksgiving parade, and, of course, a pilgrim assassin with an axe.

The new trailer also features a new interpretation of the scene where a young woman jumps on a trampoline before her untimely demise. The biggest difference is period of time associated with each trailer. The original trailer was created in the spirit of an 80s movie, with a time-appropriate storytelling and an edgy film aesthetic. The new film appears to be made to be more in tune with modern sensibilities, with much more polished cinematography. Although it is not clear if the film is set in the present day, it lacks retro references to suggest that it is set in the 1980s.
