The 5 Best ‘The Voice’ Coaches of All Time

Like Kelly Clarkson, John Legend is one of the few people to win in his first year of coaching. However, out of seven seasons, he scored only one win – with folk singer Maylene Jarmon. Before becoming a coach, he also served as an advisor to Adam Levine’s team, helping members come up with the perfect musical arrangements for their fight routines.

Legend has fantastic chemistry with the other coaches and is known for the funny ways in which he competed to win the right opponents for his team. Legend was known to come up with funny team songs for himself and other coaches and even sang a duet with one member to convince her to join his team.

As a coach, Legend was incredibly encouraging to his participants and never held back his excitement when someone impressed him. Competitors who have worked with him describe him as a caring and approachable mentor who was always able to offer valuable and constructive feedback. 5. Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera is another original coach who made her debut season a must-see. As a powerful pop singer, Aguilera was particularly drawn to pop, soul and R&B musicians with exceptional talent.
