The amazing Spider-Man 3 brings Andrew Garfield’s superhero to a happy ending in a new poster.

A new fan poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 depicts a happy ending for Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) as Spider-Woman. The success of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the popularity of the Spider-Verse series may have opened the door for The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Rumors about a potential Spider-Man 4 starring Tobey Maguire suggest that Sony Pictures may also be interested in continuing the Garfield series, given their past successes.

After the scary ending of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it looked like Garfield was done playing the web-slinger in 2014, but in 2021, the British star returned to the role, sharing the screen with two other Spider-Men, played respectively by Tom Holland. and Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Phase Four became the highest-grossing Spider-Man film of all time, featuring all three episodes.

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have been actively campaigning on social media to finally get Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man 3, using the hashtag #MakeTasm3 to show their support for the possible film. Garfield even said he would be open to starring in The Amazing Spider-Man 3 under the right circumstances.

Following the announcement of Emma Stone’s new look, Pvilly_Artist recently created a fan-made poster for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, in which the artist imagined Gwen Stacy as an alternate version of Spider-Woman. The poster pairs them with Garfield’s Spider-Man, essentially offering a happy ending to two heroes from different multiverses.

While there are currently no concrete plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Spider-Man: No Way Home opens up the possibility of it happening. In recent years, the animated series “Spider-Verse” has become one of the main projects of Sony Pictures, proving that audiences are absolutely interested in watching the adventures of the web-slinger in the multiverse. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse even included a short cameo from Garfield’s “Peter” in the form of archival footage, proving that the Spider-Verse movies and live-action films share the same multiverse.

But what’s also fueling The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is that Sony is rumored to be making Spider-Man 4 with Maguire and Sam Raimi. While Sony Pictures has neither confirmed nor denied such reports, if they are indeed considering making another film with Maguire, it wouldn’t be surprising if they wanted to do something with Garfield as well. This could be Sony Pictures’ way of ending the Maguire/Garfield film series after the huge financial and critical success of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

With the Spider-Man project getting bigger than ever in both live-action and animated versions, Sony Pictures would be leaving money on the table if it didn’t bring Garfield back to the future. Even if The Amazing Spider-Man 3 doesn’t happen, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse saga could very well see the return of Garfield and even Garfield in Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. However, for now, the world will have to wait and see if Garfield ever gets his Amazing Spider-Man 3 in the near future.
