Matt Reeves revealed the first look of the logo for his upcoming film The Batman. The filmmaker also presented a special poster made to promote the DC fandom, made by the artist Jim Lee. Check out the arts.
On Twitter, Reeves stated, “I’m looking forward to sharing the first look at our official Batman logo, and some really cool artwork made for the DC fandom by the amazing Jim Lee – see more of The Batman at the DC FanDome at the Hall of Heroes this Saturday, 08/22! ”.
The director will present news of his film during the event, which will also be attended by Robert Pattinson. The Batman panel will take place at 21:30 (Brasília time) on the 22nd. It will be replayed on the 23rd, at 05:30 and at 13:30.
Jim Lee will have his own panel to evaluate fan art focused on DC Comics villains. It will start at 17:35 on the 22nd, and will also feature two reruns. You can check the complete program of the event on the official DC FanDome website.
Although production of The Batman was halted early on, due to the new coronavirus pandemic, Reeves and Pattinson are expected to present the first teaser of the feature. The movie panel will have 30 minutes and will close the DC fandom.
In addition to Pattinson, The Batman cast features Zoë Kravitz ( Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ) as Catwoman, Paul Dano ( Black Blood ) as Riddler, Colin Farrel ( True Detective ) as the Penguin, Jeffrey Wright ( Westworld ) as Commissioner Gordon and Andy Serkis ( Black Panther ) as butler Alfred. The film is scheduled to open on October 1, 2021, in the USA.
