It was reported that Carlos Manuel Flores Amezcua, Deputy Director of Operations of the Zapopan City Police Department, was murdered at noon on Monday, November 13, in A famous cafeteria in the neighborhood of La Estancia.
Nonetheless, preliminary information from local authorities showed that an armed group traveled to the institution in a van, then left the unit and began shooting at the Zapopan city police station.

After suffering a gunshot wound, Flores Amezcua fell unconscious and diners and staff called 911 for help. However, upon arrival, city medical services confirmed his death as he suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Moments later, the Zapopan Public Security Police Department identified the deceased as Carlos Manuel Flores Amezcua, the deputy director of operations of the Zapopan City Police Department. The security department’s business code is 1603.
