The Electric State: filming completed on the film by the Russo brothers with Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt | Cinema

Filming has finished The Electric State, Netflix project written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely directed by the Russo brothers.

AGBO Films announced it in the past few hours with an Instagram post which you can see below:

In the cast of the film we find Millie Bobby BrownChris Pratt , Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Mackie and Billy Bob Thornton.

According to some sources, the cost of the project should be around 200 million dollars.

The Russo brothers will also be producers through AGBO, along with company co-founder Mike Larocca. Chris Castaldi and Patrick Newall are also among the producers. Angela Russo-Otstot, Jake Aust, Geoff Haley, Markus and McFeely will serve as executive producers.

The graphic novel is an apocalyptic take on the West, and is set in an alternate future in which a teenage girl realizes that a strange but sweet robot is actually a messenger from her long-lost brother. The two will go looking for the boy in a world populated by humans mixed with all kinds of robots, and in the meantime they will discover a conspiracy. The artbook was created thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign. Simon Stalenhag is the author and concept designer of works such as Tales from the Loop And Things from the Flood.
