There was no plan B. Yes, it was a continuation in the sense that the world we find Michael Keaton in is the same universe he was in during his adventures in Tim Burton’s movies. It just, you know, has to take some creative license to replicate something we designed. To push things forward, because I wanted Batman to be Batman for a few years after we last saw him. Therefore, there are things in its technology and gadgets that have changed and evolved, such as the Batwing: it now has three seats instead of one. It has a spinning thing and the armor suit is different. It’s a little different. There are innovations in the Batcave as well. It’s still a bit out of date for the current era, but it’s still more advanced than last time.

In glitter Worlds collide when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time and change the events of the past.
