The Hunger Games all the news on the new movie

Based on the prequel novel by Suzanne Collins. The Hunger Games and the Ballad of the Nightingale and the Snake will reveal the story that develops before the release of the films of the saga, long out of theaters, starring JayAnnifer Lawrence like Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson like Pete Mellark.

WHAT IS THE Plot?

The film takes place during the tenth Hunger Games. Eighteen-year-old Coriolanus Snow is chosen as District 12 mentor in honor of Lucy Gray Baird, played by Rachel Zegler ( West Side Story, Snow White). Snow proves to be the last hope of his fading line, his family is going through hard times, and he finds a way to restore their status through mentoring. Combining their skills with those of Lucy, a soul with a rebellious nature, for a political show they will have to face, they will have to fight against time and traps, and only at the end it will be clear who is the nightingale and who is the snake.

Among the various actors that will be featured in the film, we have Max Rafael as Festus Creed, a mentor who pays homage to District 4. Zoe Rene, Fresh out of the Sundance award-winning film The Master, she plays Lysistrata Vickers, the mentor of the District 12 tribute. Ayomide Adegun will play Pliny “Puppy” Harrington, a mentor in honor of District 7. Caitlin Akinpelumi will play Domita Wimsivik, a mentor of the District 10 tribute. Ukrainian actress and activist Sofia Sanchez will play a tribute to District 8 Wovey, with Amelie Hoferle as Vipsania Sickle, a mentor in honor of District 7.
