The Israeli army statement said artillery forces and air force aircraft “worked to prepare the field in preparation for fighting in the Jabalia area.”

The statement indicated that “forces attacked terrorist targets with the help of fighter jets and drones, including underground openings on the outskirts of Jabalia where militants were present.”

Wafa correspondents reported that “occupation warplanes targeted a school housing displaced persons in the Hafsa school in the Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in deaths and the wounding of many displaced people, including children and women. .”

The same source indicated that “many citizens were killed following the bombing that hit at least 9 houses in the Beit Lahia project, in the north of the Gaza Strip”.

An Israeli bombardment targeted communications towers in Gaza city and the northern Gaza Strip, causing communications from these areas to completely shut down, according to the same source.

The agency reported the killing of 17 Palestinians and the wounding of others, including children and women, after midnight following the shelling of a house in Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip.
