The well-known actress and model spoke for the first time about her date with the English singer, saying she was surprised by the reactions

TOKYO – A kiss at the end of a date. But it went around the web in just a few hours. This is what Emily Ratjkowski and Harry Styles exchanged in Tokyo and which neither of them had commented on until today.

In an interview with Vogue Spain, the well-known model explained that she did not understand the enormous interest that arose from what for her was a simple kiss. «It is really strange to have a certain experience and for the whole world to know about it and talk about it. I’m just someone who went from a three-year relationship to a four-year relationship who’s now, for the first time in a long time, decided to go on a few dates.”

The 31-year-old then added: «Not that this surprises me, but it is only an infinitesimal part of my life. I spend most of my time working and spending time with my son. But I guess they are not two themes with big titles ». And, she points out, “the invasion of my private sphere is something that really hurts me a lot”. How disturbing is the way she and Olivia Wilde, who has had a relationship with Styles in the past, are compared and are fueled gossip that between them are born dislikes because of the kiss.

“It happens very often. I talked about it some time ago in a video on TikTok, when the Adam Levine case came to light. Because of the algorithm, the social network only showed me content focused on the shame of a 23-year-old girl. I was frustrated by the way this young woman was told, and by the fact that what she had to say about it didn’t matter and didn’t fit. What happens now is more or less the same thing. I’m sorry for Olivia because she has had to go through situations like this on several occasions ».
