The Mandalorian, all the details of the theory on the rescue of Grogu

CARD INFORMATION

The fourth episode of the third season of The Mandalorian it’s called “The foundling” and partially traces the past of Grogu, with the aim (we could say finally) to fill the plot holes on the history of the Jedi. To find out if the goal has been fully achieved, just read the review of The Mandalorian 3×04

We will not dwell on this at the moment also because Favreau said that The Mandalorian could have infinite seasons and therefore there could be plenty of time to better explore Grogu’s past.

The fourth installment of the third season, in fact, modeled the hypothesis that to save Grogu from the Jedi Temple has been Padme Amidalathe former elected ruler of the Royal House of Naboo and member of the Galactic Senate until Order 66 and portrayed, in the series, by Natalie Portman.

The latest episode of The Mandalorian, in fact, also tells the famous night of Order 66 on Coruscant where Grogue is rescued from the Jedi temple while the Armorer forges a route of Beskar steel for the little one.

Grogu is protected by many Jedi, but he is alone Kelleran Beq to be able to guide the little one to safety and avoid being hit by clone troopers. Later Beq gets out of his vehicle and they come to him meeting the security forces of Naboo. It is precisely in this succession of scenes that the doubt creeps in a character is involved in saving Grogu that may have important authority on Coruscant as the risk was quite high.

Here Padmè could enter the scene, who as a former monarch enjoyed protection of Naboo soldiers and therefore it would have been very easy to send them on this rescue expedition. Also, the jet on which rise Beq and Grogu has a particular design which represents the sign of Padmè’s monarchy. We’ll see but all the roads seem to lead right to Padmè.

The third season of The Mandalorian is available on Disney+.
