What If…?, the merchandise reveals an original character who will debut in the second season of the animated series.
THE Marvel Studios they have moved for two years now on a permanent basis also on Disney+ and, in addition to the live-action series of Marvel Cinematic Universe releases so far, there are many animated projects under development at the company, which for this reason has opened a section dedicated exclusively to animation – called Marvel Studios Animation – to explore the potential of this sector.
In the 2024 will come up Disney+ the second season of What If…?the animated series produced by Marvel Studios which explores completely new and alternative scenarios to the events of the various films. The show, inspired by the comic series of the same name published by Casa delle Idee, sees the return of most of the actors from theMarvel Cinematic Universe as voice actors.
In the last few hours, photos of the merchandise dedicated to the second season of the series have been leaked online, confirming the debut of a original character created especially for the show. As we can see from the images – which you find below – the character in question is called Kahhori but it seems that it has no counterpart in the comics House of Ideas. According to some users, it could be a Native American or even a Muslim character.
What If…? is an animated series of 9 episodes produced by Marvel Studiosstreamed on Disney+ fromAugust 11th 2021. The series has already been renewed for a second season, which will premiere in spring 2023 to stream on Disney+, and for a third season.
In the cast they return Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter/Captain Carter), Chris Hemsworth (Party Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa/Star-Lord), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and the new entry Jeffrey Wright(L’Observer). The rest of the cast includes Michael B. Jordan, Josh Brolin, Paul Rudd, Natalie Portman, Michael Rooker and Jeff Goldblum.
