The island of Mustique until 1958 was a Caribbean paradise without roads or running water. After Lord Glenconner, Colin Tennant bought the island for £45,000, Mustique has become one of the most exclusive and expensive destinations in the world. Seven reception rooms, a chapel and a cottage with private swimming pool, tunnels connecting the various buildings, games and events rooms, a floodlit tennis court and a third swimming pool with an infinity edge from which to enjoy a breathtaking view of the landscape. The compound includes nearly 53,000 square feet of the main house plus covered outdoor areas.

The property is located on a hill and is designed in panoramic terraces with fountains and pools worthy of the largest 16th century palaces in Italy. The estate was put up for sale for $200 million and is the most expensive property ever to hit the Caribbean real estate market.
