Warner Bros. Picture has announced that the film will soon be available on streaming platforms. The film was reportedly due for release on Prime Video today, September 5, but Warner Bros. hasn’t provided any official confirmation so far, until the release date has been confirmed. premiere until next week.
Barbie will be available digitally to premium owners or for 48-hour rentals on participating digital platforms. Barbie has been a huge success since its debut on July 21, and its worldwide box office success made director Greta Gerwig the first female director to break the $1 billion mark.

In the film, Margot Robbie plays the stereotypical Barbie, a Barbie who ventures into the real world to discover the joys and dangers of being human. She is joined by America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Connor Swindells, Will Ferrell who plays the CEO of Mattel, and Ryan Gosling as Ken.
Barbie has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics. IGN gave the film a 9 out of 10, calling it “a masterful exploration of femininity and the pursuit of perfection.”
