The historic Italian defender Ciro Ferrara grew up footballing next to Diego Maradona. He made his debut in the same season as the arrival of Pelusa at Napoli and it became a symbol in the whole of the South, in addition to establishing a great friendship between the two.
As happened with all those who were close to him, Ferrara was dismayed by the death of Diego, so, a year after his loss, decided to dedicate an emotional video uploaded to their social networks, in which simulate a phone conversation with him.
“That Wednesday in November will continue to be one of the saddest days for many of his life, “says the former Juventus footballer in the video.” Although my heart is broken today, the sweetest consolation I have is the luck that I have to have been part of the pages of your novel“.
Finally, Ferrara closed the video by asking Maradona how he was doing, and dismissed him with a simple, but heartfelt message: “Do not forget that I love you a lot. Goodbye, Diego. Goodbye captain“.
Soon? Diego … Ma sei tu? Speravo in questa tua chiamata. Domani ci sveglieremo e avremo il cuore più pesante: parleranno i silenzi, preghiere, più di ogni parola. I call you back. Ciao Capitano. https://t.co/9ehFtKpn4N
