The resounding decision of the AFA before the start of the League Cup: All players must be vaccinated against COVID-19

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) confirmed that it had reached an agreement with the Argentine Football Associations (FAA) and insisted that all players, members of the coaching staff and referees of all categories have at least two vaccines against COVID-19 to be able to participate in official tournaments.

“It is urged that all soccer players, members of the coaching staff and referees who participate in a tournament organized by AFA have at least two vaccines against COVID-19“, was reported in an official statement.

Thus, The AFA invites all those footballers who have not yet done so to be vaccinated so that they can participate in the official championships which will start in February.

The clubs will have to ensure that all members of the campus have at least two doses of a coronavirus vaccine. That footballer who does not have the complete scheme cannot be used.

The AFA made its vaccination available to clubs to apply the vaccine to players who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 and wish to do so in the coming days.
