The script for “Riddick 4” is completely written. Vin Diesel is ready to return to the role and hints at a new video game©

There are at least three iconic roles in Vin Diesel’s career: Riddick from Black Hole, Dominic Toretto from Fast and Furious, and Xander Cage from XXX. All of these films have evolved over time into popular franchises. Understandably, apart from them is the “fast and frantic film series about family values”, which a few weeks ago gave birth to the ninth film. We saw “The Return of Xander Cage” in 2017. But the last film about Riddick was released back in 2013, and science fiction fans, for whom Diesel is associated primarily with the role of an intergalactic criminal, managed to miss their beloved hero. Well, this post is dedicated to them.

During a recent meeting with GamesRadar + Diesel confirmed that the script for “Riddick 4” (Riddick 4: Furya) is completely ready and, despite the tight schedule (it is necessary to shoot the 10th and 11th parts of “Fast and the Furious”), he hopes that he will someday get his hands on the project.

“[Director] David Toohey wrote a great script,” Diesel said. “And it’s only a matter of time before we have the opportunity to make a film. I believe we will be filming it in Australia. This will be the fourth chapter in this series. and that’s really cool. “

Diesel was also asked whether fans should wait for the release of the sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay, which since 2004, according to the overwhelming majority of critics, is considered the most successful video game under a film license in the history of mankind. Then Diesel noticed that since the release of the game, the past is an eternity, but fans can count on at least a new chapter.
