The streaming release date for the Super Mario Bros. movie has been confirmed after a massive box office haul.

After rocking the box office earlier this year, the streaming release date for The Super Mario Bros. movie has been revealed. The animated adventure marked the second major adaptation of Nintendo’s popular game, following the transport of plumber Mario and his brother Luigi. In the magical kingdom of the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach must fight to save her kingdom from the evil Bowser. Chris Pratt leads the celebrity cast of The Super Mario Bros. alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, Charlie Day, Seth Rogen and Keegan-Michael Key.

A few months after the box office success, Peacock officially announced the streaming release date of The Super Mario Bros. on Twitter. The post, as you can see above, reveals that the animated film will hit the streaming platform on August 6. Exactly four months after its first theatrical release.
