More than 500 local artists were hired to be part of the new Summer season with Culture 2022, a cycle organized by the Ente Cultural de Tucumán.
“There are four fundamental objectives that lay the foundations of the current management of the Cultural Entity and on which it was raised this Summer with Culture: Generate sources of work, guarantee access to cultural goods and services, make visible the artistic production of Tucuman and promote the culture of solidarity ”, affirms its president Martin Ruiz Torres.
From the second half of January and until March 1, you can enjoy a varied agenda -with free admission- that will include open-air concerts, musical shows in the main summer villages of the province and live music in bars and clubs. .
Everything will be done under the control and security devices established by the province; those over 13 must present a health pass to enter the rooms and premises attached to the Summer with Culture. In all cases, and according to the provisions of the COE, in principle until January 31, the capacity may not exceed 400 people.
“The pandemic has had a devastating effect with a drastic reduction in economic activity in the world. Despite this complex scenario of socioeconomic uncertainty, the Cultural Organization of Tucumán has not interrupted its activity at any time, nor stopped the task of accompanying cultural workers. Thus, in the last two years we have carried out all the projects that were on the agenda, adapting to the health context and fundamentally promoting the artists of our province who have been the protagonists of all the festivals and activities organized by the Cultural Entity ” Ruiz Torres concluded.
This summer the music will arrive in the bars of the province, fulfilling one of the main objectives of the Cultural Entity, that of generating jobs by hiring independent musicians and artists.
“Culture Bar” is a new cycle that will begin on January 15 and will run until March 1, in which more than 320 artists from Tucumán of different musical genres will participate, in more than 30 bars and peñas in the province, during 80 dates.
