A new collaboration by Madonna, this time with The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, from the soundtrack of The Idol
On May 23, 2023, XO Records co-founder La Mar C. Taylor released a snippet of a new collaboration between The Weeknd and Playboi Carti. song played at Cannes Film Festival as the cast of “The Idol” Walked the red carpet. It is the first known collaboration between the two and will likely be featured on the soundtrack for The Weeknd’s upcoming show The Idol.
Today it appears that the feature is actually Madonna’s collaboration with the Queen of Pop, who appears in the snippet with her voice heavily modified by Autotune. In short, it looks like Madonna absolutely wants to return to the top floor of the charts between Sam Smith and The Weeknd.
