‘The Wolf of Wall Street’: Ridley Scott could direct and Chris Evans co-star

There is always a “what if”, especially in cinema, and in this article we consider one such case: in particular, we are talking about The wolf of Wall Street and when Ridley Scott was close to directing the film, and Chris Evans among possible heroes.

The project was originally put into production and Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese committed to creating it, but since Warner Bros. initially not given the green light, they decided to focus on Shutter Island.

Ridley Scott was raised at some point, and Leonardo DiCaprio himself seemed to agree with the choice given that he had already worked with the director on No Truth. But at some point, DiCaprio was engaged to J. Edgar, and Scott was engaged to Prometheus, and they parted ways.

So Martin Scorsese was back in the game, and for the casting they thought of Chris Evans for the role of Donnie, which then went to John Hill, and Brad Pitt for the role of Jordan Belfort himself. As a result, the original idea moved into its ideal space, and Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese made a feature film, which was applauded by the audience and critics.
