HERMOSILLO, Sonora.- A total of nine cases of Covid-19 were confirmed this Wednesday, five of them in Huatabampo corresponding to an outbreak of domestic, reported the Secretary of Health.
Henry Clausen Iberri, explained that in these cases none has a record of trip, the five cases of Huatabampo corresponds to an outbreak of domestic partner of a patient who tested positive on the 2nd of April.
Of these nine cases, two are in San Luis Rio Colorado and is hospitalized; one more is in Navojoa corresponding to a direct contact of a confirmed case on 29 march, and another in a woman of Hermosillo, is also hospitalized.
They are five men and five women and the ages range between 24 and 71 years and have identified six direct contacts, but is expected to expand the research field to expand to casual contacts.
He recalled that so far add up to 48 cases in Sonora, of which five died, 27 cases are mild, with handling at home, four have been cured, and 12 remain hospitalized, of which eight are serious.
The rate of lethality in the State is higher than that of the Country and the World, he added that the severe cases are overweight, obesity, hypertension and diabetes, including young adults.
He also reported that the evidence pertaining to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) will be analyzed in the Laboratory State of Sonora to reduce the response time of results of seven a day.
