Spring brings warmer temperatures, the sun rises more often, and people seem happier outside, but this time of year brings more than just good things. For many people, spring is synonymous with pollen allergies. Pollen allergies (also called hay fever) are more common in urban settings than in rural settings because air pollution favors its effects. Spring allergies can turn this wonderful season into a nightmare filled with watery eyes, a runny nose, and a scratchy throat.
