Android malware analyst at Kaspersky security company Tatyana Shishkova reported the reappearance of this virus. It tends to appear in highly requested applications such as device customizers, PDF readers, and VPNs.
The virus originally appeared in 2017. Two years later Google released the information of its attempts to erase it from its system and since then its number of occurrences have decreased.
