They rule out signs of drugs or criminality in Matthew Perry’s death

It’s unclear what led to his death in the home’s jacuzzi.

MEXICO – Police sources who arrived at Matthew Perry’s home yesterday afternoon and found him dead have spoken out saying they found prescription drugs at Matthew Perry’s home, but none of them were illegal. So, so far, they have ruled that the death was due to drug abuse.

The 54-year-old actor best remembered for his role in “Friends” announced his death yesterday after he was found without vital signs in a jacuzzi. However, it is still unclear what triggered his death. Los Angeles police have spoken publicly about some of the details they learned after receiving the call to assist Perry.

Sources contacted the media outlet “TMZ”, who reported to the outlet that they received a call requesting their assistance with a “water incident,” however, when they arrived at Matthew’s residence in Pacific Palisades, they realized The actor is no longer with him, so there is no need to transfer him to the intensive care unit.

According to statements so far, there are no signs or indications that the actor playing Chandler Bing took any type of opioid, and while agents did find the medication, they assured it was prescription medication such as antidepressants, Anxiety medications and medications used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) may also be used to treat other conditions, such as emphysema or bronchitis.

These claims are consistent with those of officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery and Homicide Division, who were also dispatched to the actor’s home, as international sources assured they found no drugs or signs of crime at the home.

It should be noted that the actor’s official cause of death has yet to be announced, although this is one of the first clear reports.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor’s family is still waiting for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of Perry’s death.

The actor has talked about his problems with drugs and alcohol for years, however, it’s an issue he’s had to deal with since 1997, three years after he gained public recognition for his role in “Friends.” According to information reported in the media and the actor’s testimony in his autobiography “Friends, Love and Terrible Events”, he was sent to rehabilitation centers 17 times.

It is understood that the actor was sober at the time of his death and was struggling with his drug addiction.
