This Is Anthony Hopkins’ Spectacular Neighboring Mansions in the Pacific Palisades

Anthony Hopkins has been very busy in the Pacific Palisades area.

The Oscar-winning actor owns two properties, with very different architectural styles, for which he paid $ 12.6 million dollars just three months apart.

The 83-year-old Welsh actor Anthony Hopkins, who won the Oscar for his leading role in ‘The Father’, has been very active in the real estate world in recent years, not only selling his mansion in the area of Malibu but also bought two more in the Pacific Palisades area.

The two properties, which are located next to each other, were acquired by a fellow writer for $ 12.6 million.

The first of them he bought, in December 2018, after disbursing $ 6.6 million dollars, while the second passed into his hands, at the beginning of 2019, for $ 6 million dollars.

Pacific Palisades First Home

The first of the residences, consisting of 5,778 square feet, is contemporary in style and is spread over three floors.

According to the technical sheet, released in various sites specializing in the sale of real estate, the protagonist of ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

It also has a hall, kitchen, dining room, main room, TV room, wine cellar for 800 bottles, movie theater, office, billiard room, laundry room, roof garden, elevator, covered garage, among other rooms.

Pacific Palisades Second Home

Less information is available on the second home, as it was bought by Hopkins in an off-market operation in March 2019, so the interior details are practically unknown.

The only thing that is known about it is that it is colonial in style, that it was built in 1940, that it was expanded in 1990, which has an area of 3,557 square feet, which has four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

For several years it belonged to Joe Phelps, who in 2018 sold it, for $ 5 million, to a couple made up of Robert and Anna May.

They, in turn, sold it to the renowned actor for $ 6 million, that is, $ 1 million more than what they paid months ago.
