Serena Williams is kicking off 2024 with a gym workout and encouraging her fans to do the same.
Williams announced her decision to retire from professional tennis in August 2022. She said the 2022 U.S. Open will serve as the final tournament of her illustrious career.
Since then, the 42-year-old has been enjoying her retirement, immersing herself in countless enriching experiences – from attending prestigious global events to diligently running a diverse business venture, she has seized every opportunity her way.
Additionally, on August 22, 2023, Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian) birth.
Recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion shared a video of himself in the gym on social media. In the video, the former world No. 1 said everyone should motivate themselves to start the new year with fitness.
“That’s how you start a new year, you come to the gym and you jump in. Let’s go,” Williams said.
