Thousands of people took to the streets in Tel Aviv

As clashes between Israel and Hamas continued on their thirty-seventh day, thousands of people took to the streets and protested in Tel Aviv.

Israeli activists captured by Hamas demanded to return to their homes.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered on Kaplan Street and carried pictures of Israeli prisoners.

Also working in West Jerusalem

In West Jerusalem, two separate demonstrations were held in Paris Square, near the Israeli Parliament and the official residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

At the demonstration that took place near Netanyahu’s official residence, relatives of the prisoners spoke on the stage that was set up. Government supporters also waited around the square, where anti-government groups usually gather. The Israeli police took security measures in the area.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, took more than 250 hostages in the attack it launched on the morning of October 7. While a small number of hostages were released during the recent period, it is noteworthy that Hamas still has 239 prisoners.
